Albany Cottage has been in existence since 2004. We have welcomed many local and international visitors and all (except one who expected the ocean to be lapping outside the back door!) have given very positive feedback.

It is not a 'beach cottage' as such, but a large home in a quiet avenue in the suburbs, offering comfortable accommodation, with enough space to enjoy the things you would normally do in your own home.

Although only 5 minutes drive to Blaauwberg beach, we are situated in a quiet avenue in the suburbs.

Within walking distance one can find supermarkets, shops, a gym, kiddies adventure playground and many restaurants (some offering live entertainment).

At the vibrant beachfront 5 minutes drive away are restaurants and pubs offering local delicacies as well as international cuisine. Clubs offer nighttime entertainment for the young at heart.

The City centre with its historic museums and buildings as well as the Victoria & Albert Waterfront, with its many shops and restaurants are a mere 20 minutes drive away.

10 Minutes away the city changes to vast vineyards where the visitor can enjoy local wine and cheese tasting and drive through the unique Cape floral kingdom.
