Entering 14 Rue Xavier Privas is a step back in time. The first element that everyone is impressed by are the old beams. Some as old as 350 years. All that wood tells a story! And you haven’t even left the apartment yet. The best part of this apartment is it’s location. When inside, you are sandwiched between 2 calm little courtyards and when you step out on to the narrow Rue Xavier Privas you are in the heart of Paris.

Below I provide photographs that give an overview of the apartment as whole as well as some details, this way you should really have a clear idea of all that my apartment can offer you. Keep in mind that at 700 square feet my this flat is quite large. Sometimes we try the furniture in different places bit so the final arrangement when you arrive can vary slightly.

The main bedroom is downstairs. Upstairs one coach folds out to create a double bed;
You also have two small fold out chair beds and a blow up air mattress for your use. There are enough beds, blankets, sheets and pillows to sleep 6.

The local area

Several hundred year ago the students of Paris were taught in Latin and this is the area they studied in, hence the name ”Latin” Quarter. Staying in Rue Xavier Privas allows you to stay in the very center of the ancient Latin Quarter, yet only a stones throw from the Quartier de St Germain. Numerous great restaurants, bars, cafés and cinemas are all just a minute’s walk from the flat. Your metro stop, “Metro St Michel” marks meeting of the Latin and St Germain neighborhoods. The Cathedral of Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, the Louvre, the Maubert Market, all the chic shops of the 6th district and are all the old world charm of the 5th just a few steps away.
