If you are planning a vacation on the southern coast of Sicily, the town of Sciacca Terme is ideal. Situated near to the ancient Greek temples of Agrigento, Selinunte, yet not far from Palermo. Montalbanohouse is a perfect base for exploring the south of this lovely Mediterranean island.This is self-catering accommodation with spectacular views of the Mediterranean. Montalbano House is on the main beach at Sciacca, Cape San Marco — just 30 metres from the beach.
Montalbanohouse comprises two little buildings, separated by a private patio.
In the first building, nearest to the beach, you will find a little room with a washing machine, a very equiped kitchen corner, with dish-washer, fridge, oven.
A living room with a comfortable double sofa bed, table, television.
In the second building there is a bathroom with a shower and a bedroom with a double bed (plus another bed, if necessary). Montalbanohouse can accommodate up to five guests. Rooms are cooled by electric fans and air coditioned in summer and and warmed by electric heaters in winter. Bed linen, towels, tea cloths, also provided.
There’s a second shower in the patio: this is cold water only, but very handy in the summer.
To start you off, you will find a complimentary basket of essentials such as jam, cheese, butter, milk, coffee, tea, buns, orange juice, salt and pepper, organic olive oil, fruit, bread, buns and water. Parking is free.
Sciacca is 5km away, a picturesque seaside town built on rocky heights that overlook the splendid beaches and the Mediterranean Sea midway between Marsala and Agrigento. Sciacca is noted mostly for its beautiful beaches, its numerous artisan shops specialising in ceramic ware, and its thermal spa complex. The town of Sciacca is a perfect place to visit the numerous archaeological sites on the island.
