The owners have recently restored the house with much care, respecting the original features in full, and provided an excellent level of comfort.

Access to the house (2 steps) from the village square; the area is a pedestrian one, so you can easily sit in front of the house area and sip your drink (a small table is available in the accommodation).

Well equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave oven with grill, kitchen corner with 2 gas hobs, toaster, American coffe-maker, table with 4 chairs), with small lounge and Tv (satellite uncripted channels can be seen), sofa seating 3 persons, small table.

Large room accessed by one step, with a beautiful fire-place, double sofa-bed, Jacuzzi bath-tub with a capacity up to 4 guests.

2 steps and you find a second bathroom with shower, from here access to a store-room with washing/drying machine, iron and board, clothesline, items for cleaning.

The veranda, where enjoy a glass of wine, is open directly on the small square of the village and has garden furniture.
Because the square is a pedestrian area, the place is particularly quiet and clean.

Pergine Valdarno is a very typical small village in Tuscany, surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. According to documents found in the Granducato di Toscana archives, the village was built around 1050.

The climate is beautiful as well, during the summer a slight mountain breeze cools the air and in the winter the dry mountain air gives you clear days .

While the village of Pergine Valdarno retains its Old World charm it still offers all the modern conveniences such as a grocery, bakery, butcher, restaurant, bank, post office, pharmacy and police station.

The guests are welcome to use the swimming pool at the farmhouse 'Podere il Doccio'. Use of the swimming pool is free. On request it's possible to rent cycles or reserve the horses at the farmhouse 'Podere il Doccio' for horse riding .
