At the airport when you fetch the hired car it will be useful to ask to the rent a car people to show you in the map where Garajau is located. This will help you a lot together with my indications.
Once you come out of the airport drive towards Funchal city through the dual carriage way so called via rápida. After driving approximately 15 minutes you will see the signal number 15 indicating the Garajau exit which you ought to follow.
When you come out of the via rápida, turn left in the junction and descend the road straight ahead towards Garajau centre. On your way down, count until the second road on your left hand side, then turn to the left and continue for more 100 meters and on your right hand side there will be a signal written Garajau Terrace. The entrance to the apartment is the next one and we will be there to welcome and greet you on your arrival.
