The Atocha neighbourhood, located in the Arganzuela district, is primarily a residential area. It is located very close to the historical city centre and is just metres away from interest spots like the Atocha train station, the Ferrocarril Museum or the Prado Museum in the Paseo del Prado. There are many shops in the area and you can find tapas in many of the local bars. This neighbourhood is a good choice for travellers who want to stay in an area with good transport links (both by subway and bus), in an active and popular neighbourhood. This zone is probably one of the most active and popular in city centre.
