About Our Apartment:

Newly built, much-loved and well presented two bedroom holiday apartment in a gated complex in Puerto de Mazarron with year-round use of the 25 metre communal pool, with separate children¥s section. 5 minutes walk to supermarkets, bars, restaurants, town centre. 10 minutes walk to a selection of blue flag quality beaches.

Our corner apartment enjoys sea and mountain views and is set in an exclusive gated complex with telephone entry system. The apartment has one double and one twin bedroom, satellite television with Spanish and Uk channels and a DVD player with a small selection of DVDs and CDs.

Our spacious west-facing balcony enjoys both inland mountain and side sea views. The balcony is accessed from both the twin bedroom and the lounge.

About Our Area:

Puerto de Mazarron, on the Costa Calida (warm coast) enjoys some of Spain's best summer sunshine and warm winter weather, with an average of 300 sunny days a year. The numerous Blue Flag sandy beaches, where you can swim, snorkel, dive, fish or relax under the Spanish sun, are rarely crowded. The Spanish love to holiday here, enjoying the beautiful unspoilt and diverse countryside and the high standard of facilities.

Puerto has a range of restaurants, tapas bars, evening entertainment bars, cultural activities including an open air summer cinema, indoor and outdoor sports facilities including ten pin bowling, sports hall, kart track, gymnasiums etc.) plus nearby national parks, museums, natural thermal springs and an indoor pool.

In summer, there is a good choice of night clubs, inlcuding an open-air out of town club which stays open until after sunrise.

The local council regularly provides free beach concerts and has set up theme beaches to provide a variety of free sports and relaxation facilities for all ages - even designated nudist beaches.

Puerto de Mazarron is one of the most important tourist centres for marine and sub-aquatic activities in Spain. The frequency of prevailing winds throughout the year in the Bay of Mazarron means sailing instruction and practice can be undertaken at any time of the year. The clear waters and rich flora and fauna offer the diving enthusiast some highly interesting underwater depths.
