St Cuthbert's.....
St Cuthberts, formerly a Victorian Railway Inn, has recently undergone full renovation and the accommodation is of an extremely high standard. Our self contained holiday accommodation sleeps up to 6 people (Ideally 4 adults + 2 children), and comprises large bedroom with double bed and bunk beds for the children. Contemporary open plan living - Dining area. New, fully fitted and well equipped kitchen with full oven, microwave and Fridge Freezer. Luxury bathroom with large walk in shower, basin and wc. The property enjoys the use of our lovely large garden with open views, large raised deck area and koi pond. We have 2 friendly dogs, hens and ducks. Sorry, we are unable to accept pets.
We are less than half a mile from pretty Scorton village, with 2 fabulous pubs serving good food and fine ales! Village shop/post office, chuch and tea room.
The historic market town of Richmond with it's cobbled market place, Georgian architecture, beautiful historic castle and fabulous riverside walks is just 10 minutes by car. The Yorkshire Dales with their fabulous scenery and beautiful walking country are under 20 minutes away.
St Cuthbert's offers many facilities for our guests to enjoy.
St Cuthberts and it's unique position offers everything needed for a wonderful holiday. Closeby, there are activities for all the family, beautiful scenery to enjoy, walking, golf courses, fishing lakes, swimming, horse riding, quad biking, and so much more.... We have traditional country pubs, fabulous local restaurants, theatres, fantastic shopping, and all the history you can imagine.....
Places of interest include the historic York Minster, Fountains Abbey, Richmond Castle, Newby Hall and Gardens. Antony Gormley's world famous Angel of the North is only 40 minutes away.
Historic York City with Tudor alleyways and beautiful York Minster is an hour south, and vibrant cosmopolitain Newcastle City is under an hour north, with it's 'Angel of the North', the Baltic Mill contemporary art gallery, and The Sage Gateshead, music hall.
Croft circuit is only 3 miles away!
Those who enjoy motor sports will no doubt have heard of Croft circuit. We are very close by, for those seeking accommodation whilst taking part in or simply coming to the area to enjoy the high profile motor sporting events held throughout the year.
