Telemark Place is one of the very best - and least known - locations in Whistler. With the ski-in run ending 10 feet from the door of this unit, and the lifts and the top of the Village just a three-minute walk away, there is nowhwere more convenient.

This townhome has also been extensively renovated in traditional Whistler Alpine style, with extensive use of peeled logs, granite and other natural materials. The ground floor has all the entertainment space, with cutting-edge kitchen, spacious dining area and expansive living space around the wood-burning fireplace. Leather sofas and cheirs complete the atmosphere. Next to the living room is the TV/den area which has a queen sofabed.

Upstairs are 3 bedrooms: a large master with its own sitting area and fireplace, and second bedroom also with a queen bed and a third bedroom with a hand built log bed whch has a queen on the lower level and a twin/single on the upper level.

Four bathrooms are also available, one downstairs and three upstairs.

The local area

Whistler has been the number 1 rated ski resort in North America for the last 8 years in a row. Two mountains, Whistler and Blackcomb, rise up a mile out of the valley (1,609 metres/ 5,280 vertical feet) and access over 7,000 acres of prime mountain terrain - including 12 alpine bowls, three glaciers and more than 200 marked trails - via 33 lifts. The lifts have a capacity of nearly 60,000 skiers per hour. If you want a rest from the skiing there are 18 different restaurants on the mountain.

Average snowfall is over 30 feet or 9 metres per year, and the season lasts all the way from November through to August.
