Telemark Place is a little-known but prime development at the top of the Village, right next to the Westin Hotel. It offers ski-in, ski-out access as well as a 2-minute walk to the Village, making it one of a very select group of properties with this combination of facilities.

This is a newly and beautifully-renovated townhome with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The lovely living room offers wooden floors, a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, a sit up bar with leather stools and a seating area with leather sofas and armchairs around the gas fireplace.

Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and a full bathroom. Downstairs are 2 additional bedrooms, each of which has 2 twin beds which can be pushed together to make a king if required. A sofabed in the living room completes the sleeping accommodation, which is very flexible.

Please note that although this unit can comfortably sleep 8 or even 10 people (including the living room sofabed, it is smaller than other units with this much sleeping capacity and 8-10 people may find the living area a little cramped. Many guests find that this aspect is more than compensated for by the great location and the beautiful condition of this townhome.

The local area

Whistler has been the number 1 rated ski resort in North America for the last 8 years in a row. Two mountains, Whistler and Blackcomb, rise up a mile out of the valley (1,609 metres/ 5,280 vertical feet) and access over 7,000 acres of prime mountain terrain - including 12 alpine bowls, three glaciers and more than 200 marked trails - via 33 lifts. The lifts have a capacity of nearly 60,000 skiers per hour. If you want a rest from the skiing there are 18 different restaurants on the mountain.

Average snowfall is over 30 feet or 9 metres per year, and the season lasts all the way from November through to August.
