Situated in the countryside only five minutes drive from the charming town of Vera near Mojacar on the Costa Almeria, Spain.

An individual property set in over an acre of mature gardens in a country location but only ten minutes from clean beaches. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing but not too remote holiday then this is the place for you.
Finca Arboleda has an inviting 10 x 5 metre pebbletec swimming pool with a healthy salt water purifying system. Both units have English satellite T.V. and a wireless internet connection (WiFi) is available.
Garrucha
We built The Old Stables Villa on the site of a stable block in 2004, it is bright, airy, comfortable and surprisingly spacious. It enjoys it's own private space 50 metres from the pool amongst Olive and Fig trees.
The villa is 66 square metres and has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, both have fitted wardrobes with hanging space and shelves.
The bathroom has a walk-in power shower, WC and a hand basin with vanity unit and hairdryer.
The modern American-style kitchen is well equipped with a fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, oven, toaster, kettle, juicer, picnic cool box and iron. A breakfast bar links to the living area, which has two sofas, one of which is a comfortable sofa bed. The dining table will seat six.
All rooms have ceiling fans and for the chilly winter nights there is Gas central heating. The windows have shutters and mosquito nets.
There is English satellite TV and a DVD player. A WiFi connection is available. Outside is a patio area with table, chairs and barbeque.
Swimming pool
Swimming pool, the beautiful private 10 x 5 metre Pebbletec pool is shared by the Villa, Apartment and the owners. It has a salt purifying system so the chlorine is hardly noticeable and the salt content is only the same as a human tear.
The garden is set on three levels...
... our house, the apartment and the pool are on the top level, the middle level is planted with Olive trees and the villa is on the lower level with more trees.
Overall the garden is planted with over 100 mature trees including 52 Olive trees from which we press our own organic extra virgin oil and offer for sale. There are 25 citrus trees with Oranges, Mandarins, Satsumas and Lemons. We also have Apricots, Figs, Pomegranates, Mulberry, Plums, Pears, Apples and Vines whose fruit you are welcome to enjoy.
Vera is a very historic but at the same time lively little town with supermarkets, shops, banks, bars and restaurants.
The town hall is from the 16th centruary and the Church dates from 1512. Vera playa has a very popular Aquapark. Most of the towns and villages in Almeria have market day once a week, Vera's market is very large and is on Saturdays.

Inland there are lots of mountain villages to explore and along the coast is Garrucha, about 10-15 mins away, a working fishing town where you can watch the days catch be auctioned, have a stroll along the excellent promenade and then enjoy dinner at one of the many open air seafood restaurants. A further 5 mins along the coast is Mojacar with the historic white washed old town perched on a hill overlooking the seafront with 100's of international and Spanish restaurants. Mojacar offers a large variety of water sports, diving, and seaside attractions. Further along the coast is Carboneras which is the start of the Cabo de Gata Natural Park a wonderful protected area with mountains, coves and rare wildlife and birds of prey. Further inland is Mini Hollywood home of the Spaghetti Western with a Zoo and swimming pools, a great day out, only 40 minutes from us. There are plenty of other things to keep the family occupied with Go-karting in Garrucha and numerous riding stables. Almeria province has lots of interesting regions to visit inland on on the coast.
Granada is just over two hours away, if you plan to visit the Alhambra be sure to book tickets first.
